Please help! I’ve rebooted, unpaired, uninstalled and restored to factory settings already.
my watch is “loosing” steps. It’s still reading ok in the app but is not showing on my watch. This is happening daily. It’s gutting when I loved my versa 2 but needed an upgrade 😢

It doesn’t appear that anyone has the answers.
I’ve used Fitbits of various models since 2012 and I’m almost at the end of my rope on this!

Same here! I started with whatever came before Versa and ionic and it’s always something major that can’t be fixed.

This started happening with me after the update a few days ago. The watch is recording the steps accurately but then the app when you open jumps ahead by like 500 steps. You then have to walk the 500 steps until he catches up but then it jumps ahead again so the app is adding steps.

Hi there! I have been having similar issues with steps not being accurate on watch and app since this last update. My steps are almost 2,000 different from watch to app. The accurate information is on my app. My zone minutes are also not accurate. The app is recording the watch versus what is accurate on my app. Almost 30 minutes difference. It is very frustrating. I contacted Fitbit this evening and was told to take off my phone and just have my Versa 4 only and see if that works. Not sure if it will help anyone but maybe worth a shot to see.

Hi there! I just wanted to let you know I was in touch with Fitbit today and am still having the same issues with steps, zone minutes and miles. They are working on figuring out what happened. I was also told to watch for another update. Maybe it will resolve everything. One can only hope. It is frustrating to say the least. I will keep you posted when I hear anything.
Here is the response from Fitbit:
By the way, we have a new update for the app to 4.41 that is currently rolling out again.
We recommend updating your Fitbit app once the update is available on your end.

Yeah you are right it really isn’t a solution. I just don’t like the discrepancies between the watch and the app. I don’t pay for the premium either. Just hope Fitbit figures it out soon and fixes it.

My stats have improved with the exception of my zone minutes. It still continues to be an issue. Everyday with synching throughout the day it is 15 to 22 minutes less than it should be. I reached out again to Fitbit and I was told I would have to wait for the next update. I don’t even know if that’s going to resolve my issue. Fitbit needs to get it together this is frustrating to see the minutes off everyday.

I was suggested by Fitbit to unsynch my phone and only use my watch. Then also to remove the set the time zone automatically to just where I live, which is eastern standard time. I needed to adjust my stride length to automatic. I did all of those things but the zone minutes are frustrating me with 20 something minutes each day. So I am working out and not getting that time. I was told to try a factory reset. It didn’t help mine so not sure doing that will resolve anything. Also can try restarting your watch. See if you and everyone can make those adjustments and see if that helps you. Like I mentioned the zone minutes are killing me right now. Then it makes the cardio load have some unreachable goal everyday of 150 or higher. Fitbit needs to get this update ready and fix whatever bug created from the last update.

Wow! That is really annoying. Did you try logging out of Fitbit app and going back in? That doesn’t help may need to delete and reinstall the Fitbit app. You can also restart your phone. Mine did that as well in the beginning. I have done everything for this to get things working again. Fitbit tells me to wait for the next update. To me sounds like they have no idea. Who knows when it will happen according to what I was told.
My main frustration is my zone minutes right now. Today there are 30 minutes from the main screen and watch than when you click on that individual part.
