I recently got myself a Versa 4 smartwatch, and I've been mostly enjoying it. However, I've run into a bit of a snag that's been bothering me. Sometimes http://dmvnow.wiki/ Motor Vehicles Department of Virginia it tracks my route and performance perfectly, while other times it just seems to lose signal altogether. Has anyone else encountered this issue with their Versa 4? If so, did you manage to find a fix or a workaround?

Welcome to the Fitbit community, @Katherine_Ryan!
Sad to hear that you're having issues with your Versa 4 concerning GPS reception.
Bad news is that Versa 4 indeed isn't know to have the best GPS reception. Good news is that Fitbit is aware of this, has worked on this and thus is rolling out firmware version 194.61 which will give your device Dynamic GPS, combining Versa 4's GPS reception with your phone's GPS reception. So, no need to worry on long term.
In terms of water proofing, I'm glad to tell you that Versa 4 is water resistant up to 50 meter. As with all wearables this doesn't mean that it is meant to be a diving watch. But if you keep an eye on the few points mentioned here you can enjoy your device for all swimming activities:
Can I swim or shower with my Fitbit device?
