Versa 4 Google Assistant and step accuracy inquiries

Hi all, does anyone have any news on whether the versa 4 will get Google assistant as it's a bit weird that they have gone down the Alexa route?

  As a googlite through and through I feel it will make Fitbit more complete.

 Gripe 2 would be step counts, they seem so high I look like an athlete for someone just taking the pups for a walk, I have tried a few tips from the Fitbit app and lacklustre call to support however the versa 4 seems to have a hair trigger generosity dishing out extra steps.

  I hope things will get better for us soon

Hi @Skyreacher36  - it's pretty certain that Google Assistant won't appear on the Versa 4 unless there is a sudden change of direction.

For steps, try restarting the device and also setting to dominant hand which filters better the non real steps.

Cheers mate I will try that, peed off about Google assistant as fitbits joined Google and the versa 3 has it, rather odd to me

@Skyreacher36 - agreed , as a Google product it is odd to be excluded.

Fitbit have a 45 day refund policy, and some stores may offer a 14 to 30 day refund.
