Versa 4 HR not working on the watch nor on the Fitbit app

I got a versa 4 brand new for Christmas, it’s tracking my HR on the watch but if I want to see it on the app I can only view it on weeks months and years at the top, days won’t display so I’m unable to see in detail, it says to wear my device to get heart rate data. Ive deleted the app restarted my phone and watch, logged out and in and nothing works, I’m wearing it correctly too. 
its brand new why am I having issues with a brand new watch, my last one was riddled with issues and now I’m having issues with my new one, what on earth is going on? 

Also the red light on the back isn’t coming on, green one is working and flashing (though it’s not displaying in the app) but the red isn’t but is displaying the information on the app. 

what is happening 😭🤯

I've seen you contacted our Support Team after posting here and they've already assisted you. If the steps that our team has provided did not work, please feel free to contact them back for further assistance. Since you already have a ticket open with them it'd be easier to continue the follow up on this matter with them directly.

I’ve had my versa four for a few years now and I think it was an update or something that common everything up. I like going to the gym and do spinning and my heart rate gets very high. I compare it to a pulse ox and the exercise machine and lately my pulse will not go over 90 and when my heart rate is actual around 150s, it says it’s in the 70s. What can I do about this? Is this something that’s going to be fixed in an update? All it is for me now is a clock.
