Since the previous thread was locked and I still have issues, I am starting a new one. Does anyone else have issues with the heart rate tracking on the Versa 4? There are days it's okay, and then there are days where it is just way off. For example, I work out at the local gym doing weights and cardio. I was in the gym one morning and it was leg day so I was squatting. Normally, I can get my heart rate up to around 135 when squatting near my max. This was the case that day. Yet, according to my Versa 4, my heart rate never exceeded 94. Mind you I was breathing heavily and sweating a ton after squatting. I took my heart rate myself to check and it should have been reading somewhere around 130 after that.
Another day, I was doing cardio on an elliptical machine. This machine has its own heart rate monitor. When I got going, both my watch and the machine were in agreement. My heart was around 150. However, about 5 minutes into my cardio session, my Versa 4 is telling me my heart rate plummeted to 85 bpm. Mind you the machine still was saying my heart rate was round 150. This lasted for 15 MINUTES with my Versa 4 having my heart rate that low. After about 15 minutes it corrected itself, but I wish I could show you the graph. It is absurd. If my heart rate was at 150 and then suddenly dropped to 85 in a split second, I would have passed out. Mind you, I have not been diagnosed with any kind of heart issue and as I said before, the machine was not showing this drastic drop.
Is anyone else seeing this kind of problem? It is super frustrating because the inaccurate heart rate affects how many calories are burned so it is not just the heart rate reading that is off. I wear my watch as directed when exercising so I am not sure if I have a defective watch or if it is just an all-around Versa 4 problem.

I've been having the same issue. Also resting hr is way to low. I do cardio for hrs and it doesn't go above hr 105 usually under a 100.
