Versa 4 - How to see time when it's into exercise mode

I don't get why it doesn't just show the time.  For me, it is first and foremost a watch.
Please don't tell me to go to the exercise app on the watch and scroll to the top/bottom thing, because I have no idea what any of that means.  I cannot find any way to make it show me the time.
Thank you.

That video led me to finding the correct answer.
1 Swipe Right to get to exercise app
2 Tap "all"
3 Tap the exercise "Walk" most likely
4 Scroll up until you get to the part that has Top, Middle, and Bottom
5 I wanted the time right in the middle of my watch, so I chose Middle
6 Make sure only "Time Of Day" is selected
7 Swipe Right
8 Scroll down until you see Play icon
9 Tap the "Play" triangle
This sets your selection and you should now see the time in the middle of your watch where it belongs.
If you weren't really about to begin walking, scroll up until you see "End."  Tap End and then "Done"

Seems like a problem they should fix.

@ramonv   The Versa 4 has a feature that isn't on previous models you owned.  It is an Auto-start feature that will turn on the Exercise app for six activities: walk, run, bike, elliptical, rowing, and spinning.  This YouTube video shows you how to turn it off.  Not the most professional, but it gets the job done.

You must follow this procedure to turn this feature off.  This is a feature Fitbit created.  They don't see it as a problem to be solved.

Thank you.  I will try that.
Hopefully, they look at these boards sometimes, and will see that this is a problem that needs to be fixed.  It is more of a defect than a feature.  A watch's primary function is to tell time.
