Versa 4. Maps of routes walked not showing despite setting google maps app up

I've set the Google maps app up on the fitbit app. It clearly says set up complete. I've selected auto start. I've done a walk today and there's no map showing of my  route on the fitbit app.

Google Maps on your Versa 4 is meant to be an option for turn by turn navigation on your wrist while keeping your phone in the pocket.

To get maps of your walking exercises however, I'd suggest to take your time and have a closer look here to see how to do that:

How do I use GPS on my Fitbit device? 

Please keep in mind that you have to start an exercise manually to get GPS tracking.
