Versa 4 / No Longer Calculating Steps Within Individual Workouts

I have depended on my FitBit to calculate my steps within individual workouts for years. If I chose Workout, Aerobics, Dance, etc...it would show me total steps taken during the activity. That feature has been removed I take it? The step count disappeared even from past workouts where I had seen it there before. Just FYI, I have tried resynching repeatedly, disconnecting watch from phone, clearing cache etc. FitBit support was not very helpful in the chat and I can't find an email. They always want you to do a factory reset, but I've seen others are having this issue as well. If we can't get this helpful feature back, then it would be great to see an Indoor Walk setting that will calculate steps during workouts. Does anyone have a fix for this or even noticed this? Hoping I'm not alone!
