Versa 4 Screen Wake settings are being changed every time Fitbit app syncs (repeat of Feb issue!)

First noticed approx 24 to 36 hours ago intermittently but now it's confirmed and constant - whenever the Fitbit app syncs on my Android device, my Screen Wake settings on Versa 4 are changed immediately from "Button Only" to "button & motion". I can watch my Fitbit device screen as my phone app syncs and see the quick settings change. In addition, the Settings menu doesn't hold the selections for screen brightness, screen wake choice, etc. 

Powering off the watch, phone, disabling/re-enabling Bluetooth and Wi-Fi didn't fix the issue. Cache cleared on Fitbit app, Google Play store checked for update and software is up to date. 

This seems to be a repeat bug from February's glitch that hit multiple watch models but I don't know if it's affecting other models too right now, I only know this is happening to my versa 4 in the exact same way.
