I've had a break of about a year from my versa 4, and having set up another account, carried out the expected updates, restarted the device, my device will not show any heartbeat or steps, though this date shows on my synced mobile phone. Incidentally, the reason I stopped using the versa 4 was because it stopped recording my sleep pattern.

Hi @GuzzDevonport - if the watch developed a fault a year ago and stopped measuring heart rate it would no longer show sleep.
If you did a factory reset (or a firmware update) and is still faulty your only option is a warranty replacement but it may now be too old for that.
Even so changing clock face may help if that is where you check results, though a swipe left should show steps measured by the watch itself after a walk wearing the watch on your wrist and if it doesn't the watch is definitely faulty.

Many thanks for the reply Guy. I persisted last night and updated the clock face (several times) and behold, it now shows both steps, heartbeats and has also recorded my sleep data.
