Anyone else struggled with their device being stuck on Military/24 hr time? Updating the setting via the app and syncing the device aren't working. Also tried restarting the device and repeating the steps with no luck.

@CodyGRDH have you tried changing your watch face? That's what I did once when that happened to me. It worked, so I switched back to my original watch face and it was fine after that.

Hi @CodyGRDH - try logging into the Dashboard at Fitbit.com and changing it there, it could be a bug on this new platform.
If that doesn't work try changing the clock face.
If you are using Always On with a clock face that doesn't have AOD the time shown will be in 24 hr mode when the clock face is not showing.

I have this issue when tracking exercise. My regular watch face is in 12 hour mode but then when I track a run it switches to 24hour clock. I have contacted Fitbit and they don’t have a solution. And have said they may not have an immediate solution! It’s a bit frustrating

Hi @bcazzven - as mentioned above and in your other posts, by @t.parker 24 hr mode is the default for the watch, for AOD and exercise, for space and energy saving reasons most likely.
One solution is to switch to the 24 hr mode everywhere even if it takes some getting used to.
All recording is based on a 24 hr system in order to synchronise events and time zones and is used commonly outside just a few countries. It is pretty much an international standard, like used for airlines and military and elsewhere.
It may not be the answer you are looking for but at least it would harmonise the presentation.

When I purchased and wore the watch for the first month it was in 12 hour mode during exercise tracking🤷🏻:female_sign: the issue appeared after about a month and after the new update.

In the fitbit app, Tap the top left
Scroll to bottom, tap app settings.
Tap Clock Display Time.
Note that some third party watch faces don't display 24 hour, and some faces have their own setting, ignoring the global setting.

That worked for me! Turned off Always On and problem solved. Didn't realize the clock face wasn't compatible with that setting. Thanks!
