I bought this from Costco the other day. They had it on their card that it had a temp sensor. Fitbit says all over they have a temp sensor. This has been marketed and sold for over half a year to do temp sensor.
It doesn't. There are other forums out there that have this and they go back a ways and I don't think the additional posts are getting any visibility so I created a new thread.
Costco SHOULD stop selling this as they are now liable for false advertisement in their stores unless this is being worked out with the manufacturer and they feel safe-enough with that risk. They SHOULD immediately replace all cards that say "Temperature Sensor" as this is infact NOT a feature of the device and it doesn't look promising since it isn't here still after release so long ago.

Hello @Zarcc555 and welcome to the Community. The Versa 4 doesn't have the on wrist temperature sensor found on the Sense and Sense 2, but it does measure skin temperature variation using other existing sensors. Help article The Sense/Sense 2 also report a temperature variation from your baseline. No Fitbit reports a temperature, just a variation.
Costco isn't an Authorized Retailer in the US. Costco creates its own signs, unlike authorized retailers who have Fitbit branded signs and displays. It sounds like your issue is with Costco, not Fitbit.

Thanks for the welcome, @LZeeW
However, I can't immediately agree with that statement as it doesn't address my datapoints.
1.) https://www.fitbit.com/global/us/products/smartwatches/versa4
This also states "Skin temperature variation"
2.) A number of other threads exactly like this one have been created. I see responses that this is to be corrected.
3.) And also, this link says it covers the Versa series and doesn't say "Not 4" series: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2458.htm#:~:text=How%20do%20I%20see%20my%20skin%....
So... my issue is with Fitbit, not Costco. I feel that Costco went off the same information everyone else went off of.
I am hoping that Fitbit will respond to this... not sure that people taking this up with Costco would be great for Fitbits total business.
And, as a completely separate note, the reply button is only clickable on the very left side for this...
Starting to wonder if I backed the wrong horse.

I must have chose a bad time to join the Fitbit club... I may return my watch for a cheaper version or step away from Fitbit all together since it requires an investment of self (and the eventual premium journey increasing that investment) and get out while the getting is still good.
