Hi

My Fitbit has completely died, won't turn on, charge and there is no green light on the back. Holding down the button won't work and it won't sync so I can't use the app to do any sort of reset. Screen is completely black there, nothing will start it/restart.  Can anyone help 🙂

@Elizarose , A warm welcome to the Community ! Thank you for your message.

Please plug the Versa 4 to charge for at least 30 minutes. (independently if you see anything on it's display).

Then press and hold the button of the Versa 4 for 8-10 seconds.

You  should see the logo appear . Then let the button go.

The Versa 4 should restart then.

Hi @Elizarose - if the battery is flat and it is not charging which seems to be the case, see instructions How to check charge cable - Sense 2/Versa 4 won't charge, won't start or blank screen

Cleaning issues and faulty cables are not uncommon.

If the problem is not resolved and the cable and power source have been changed considering getting it replaced under warranty.

Thank you for your assistance Guy ! Unfortunately my Fitbit is not responding to any of the options above. I have the touch buttons which don’t seem to respond like the actual buttons would. 😞

Thank you Juan for your assistance, unfortunately I am attempting to hold the button for long periods of time but nothing occurs. My watch has the touch button so it doesn’t seem to pick up that I am holding it down at all. I left it charging all night but no luck !

@Elizarose  - thanks, if you don't have a real button but just a touch button, do you perhaps have a Versa 3?

In any case it will not respond to any button or double tap if it needs charging, so check that first, as it is a common problem.

@Elizarose , Thank you for your replies and keeping us updated. Could you please check your Fitbit model and if not sure the one you have, just attach a picture to your response so that we can identify and provide you with further assistance.

Keep in mind, that you posted your inquiry on the Versa 4 board.

In the meantime please have a look at this.
