Versa 4 alarm keeps going off even when I tap the "✓"

Alarm set for 07:30 each morning.  Not smart alarm.  Goes off,  I look at it and tap the "✓".  Alarm stops but goes off again 9 min later (snoozed).  I do the same thing (tap the "✓")and it remains off. This is consistent.  Have restarted the watch, no change.

Is there a setting I"m missing somewhere?

Hi there, @jtpryanThanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 4 alarm is still going off 9 mins later after the first one. I will do my best to help you with this! 

Since you mentioned you don't have Smart Wake, I'd like to know if by any chance you have Alexa? I've seen some cases very similar to yours when it results in Alexa being the one making these alarms going off at the wrong time. So, please note that this might also be Alexa alarms. Know that the alarms and timers you set with Alexa are separate from those you set in the Alarms app. For more information, see How do I use a voice assistant on my Fitbit smartwatch?

No,  it isn't Alexa although I do have it.  But this is the only alarm I have set and I set it using the watch.  Also, it is going off at the right time, just not closing out, but snoozing (goes off at 7:30 and 7:39).
