Versa 4 and Fitbit app won't show the same amount of steps

It started with my Versa 3 a couple weeks ago. Not it’s continuing with my new Versa 4.

The app doesn’t agree with the number of steps my watch says. And if I keep refreshing/syncing the app, the number of steps keep changing. Not just today’s steps, but all other day’s steps just keep changing.

Whats going on???

Thank you for your reply. It is good to know that it's the app software that's being glitchy, and not my phone or my new watch. It's not a big deal, I only noticed because my workplace is doing a little contest to see who has 40k steps per week. I printed off my week's steps, and it then later it changed! It was weird!

Anyway, thanks for letting me know. I assume this will just be a app update coming soon.

Fitbit app just pushed an update. Maybe this is now fixed!

My Versa 4 which is only a month old has just stopped counting steps accurately.  I wear it everyday and it was working correctly until this morning.  I have restarted the Versa, turned off/on Bluetooth, forced stop my app and it still only shows 3,154 on my wrist and my app shows the over 9k I have walked today. Please help!
