I’ve got 2 different amount of steps 1 on my watch and 1 on Fitbit app

I’ve been having issues with mine for about a week now.
Every time I sync mine it will have the corrects steps showing on the app however it takes my step count back to the previous sync on my watch.
Been in contact with Fitbit a few times now and they are apparently aware of the issue

Google have been messing around with steps since February such that the steps recorded on the watch are adjusted when syncing and anything can result.
