Recently my Fitbit versa 4's battery has been dying more than normal. I usually now charge it in the morning around 8-9(because it dies overnight), and then when it's around 10 to 11 it shuts itself down, and when I turn it back on, it's like 3-4% battery. Before this issue, my watch used to last for a couple days. Does anyone know a way to fix this or is it something like a faulty battery?

Hi there @Fitbituser1402!
A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community! Thank you so much for reporting this situation.
I suggest you try to restart your Versa 4 by pressing and holding the button for 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears on the screen, and then release the button.
Please try to follow all the tips from this article too: Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?

Hello fitbit user,
Past few weeks i have had the same problem with my versa 4! I called support. I turned off the " always on" display and screen brightness. The watch continues to shut down and reboot when ever I tried to access a function. And I was putting the watch on charge at minimum 2 times per day. Unfortunately my date for replacement had passed..it was not quite 2 yrs since I broug

Hi all,
I am also having the same problem. My watch hit two years Christmas, and since then it needed charging more often, then started doing the same, all good, then logo pops up, won’t turn on until I put it on the charger. Once on the charger, it’s shows battery anywhere from 5 to 97%, none of it accurate.
Here is what I’ve discovered, as I haven’t contacted customer service because I’m out of warranty and seeing so many with the same problem I don’t want a coupon for a new watch. I have to keep my all open 24/7 (iOS). And I have to have my phone with me always. If I’m away from my phone, the watch dies, if the battery gets to 30%, the watch dies. If I close the app accidentally, the watch dies.
So Fitbit, what gives? Why does my watch have to be in constant contact with my app, not just connected to my phone?

I want to add that I’ve turned the watch off and done multiple factory resets. None of those helped.

What I've tried is charging the watch to 100%. This worked for me as the battery life didn't start draining so fast. I don't know the reason why this works although.

I’ve charged to 100% multiple times. This morning it was 100%, dropped to 77% when I put it on. The app was closed in my phone, and 15 min later watch was ‘dead’. Put it on the charger, it woke up, said it was 94%, it sat for a minute, then was 75%. I’m so frustrated.

I am having the same issue! It used to last 3 or 4 days before a charge. Now I have to charge it at night and then again the following night. And like you said my date for replacement has passed. It seems we aren't the only ones having an issue with the charge which really sucks. You purchase a product and then find it is defective, and we are stuck with it.

Same here!

I am in the same boat but with my Versa 3. Constantly getting notifications that my battery is low! No snore detection, no screen on all the time.
I wear it constantly but only open the face a few times a day to check steps and/or time.
Not happy!

I'm experiencing a similar issue, my versa 4 used to last about a week on a single charge.
A few days ago I used it until the battery finished and it switched off. Now a full charge won't even last 12 hours.
Surely there is a hardware/Software issue that Fitbit has to look into, or Google
