I recently got gifted a versa 4 and we just factory reset it an hour ago, and now it won’t do anything, i keep having to redo everything all over again and when it finally connects it crashes on “connected” and nothing happens I left it for two hours and nothing happened, ive reset it about 15 times now by the button because when that “connected!” Screen comes up I cannot physically do anything else on my Fitbit

Hi @Queen_pandah welcome to the Fitbit Community!
I am sorry to hear that your Versa 4 is not reacting as expected, I would like to know more about this so we can help.
You mentioned this started after you did a factory reset, right? When you say it crashes and it "won't do anything" would you please explain a bit more? is the screen stuck on a specific part or is the screen completely blank? Can you see if your device shows as "syncing" via the app?

Everytime I go into the app it says it’s synced, I’m stuck on the part where it confirms it’s connected, I cannot see my notifications or anything like that because I can’t move past this screen
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And adding onto my last paragraph this place is my last resort I have tried google search from google search to YouTube video to Reddit nothing was solved

Thanks for the screenshot! Could you try changing the clock-face of the device via the Fitbit app? this sometimes helps "reset" the device without needing a full restart.

I have the exact same issue with a brand new Fitbit versa 4 that was bought today April/16/2026.
I tried to switch the watch face in the Fitbit app but the page won't load of the Fitbit app.

Yup called Fitbit customer support and the rep told me it was a known widespread issue.
There's definitely a software bugg on the Fitbit's right now. I'm debating if I should just go get mine refunded because this is one of the worst product experience I've ever had...

Do you have a timetable for a potential fix and how long has this issue been reported ?

Same issue here, can't get it off connected. Factory reset deleted app, restart phone and it's always stuck on connected and won't load the watch faces or apps page from the app

THAT LOGO is because........................I want to also add that my watch is stuck on the connected screen with a check mark. I have worked with the support team uninstalled the fitbit app on my android phone and held the button on the watch and got the flashing diamond screen (LOGO) and red X then the watch returned to choose language. Tried installing again and back to the connected with a check mark on watch. AGAIN the team said this is affecting all watches not just the Versa 4. So if your watch is new you will not be able to update the firmware, thus making the watch usless. NO ETA as of 4/18/26 on a resolution either.

Fitbit is having system 'issues. NO ETA on when the fix will come.
---------------------------------------------------
The issue has been going on sinceThursday. Its affecting all watches. NO ETA as of 4/18/26 as I just spoke with them.
