For 2 nights my Versa 4 says no sleep data available…but I’ve finally gotten some good sleep!   How do I fix this?

Hi there, @GK79. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your sleep data. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you!

If you sync your Versa 4, does your sleep data show up on the Fitbit app? If that is the case, please keep in mind that your sleep data might take a couple of minutes to show up on your Versa 4 and indeed, I'd recommend sync your Versa 4 twice in a row just right after waking up.

If the above doesn't describe your issue,
I recommend considering the following in order to get sleep stages:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

For more information, see What should I know about Fitbit sleep stages?
