Versa 4 different design of watch bands

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have a versa 3 that I was never able to use due to the watch band design, the bands just keep falling off, there is nothing to hold them on the watch. Nothing that "clicks" when trying to put them on. Have they changed the design on the watchband on the newer models? I don't want to upgrade just to find the newer ones do the same thing, and waste more money. Yes, I spoke with customer support about the issue, they said to send a picture or video, which there is no way to do that.

Thanks

Hi @Stella619 - you can't upgrade your watch as more recent watches don't have all the features you have on your watch.

If the bands don't click into place the watch may be faulty and need replacing.

Welcome back to the Fitbit community, @Stella619!

If you're having issues with Fitbit's quick release mechanisms on their newer Versa/Sense models, maybe due to your wrist diameter, please have a look here:

They wouldnt replace it without a video or pic of the bands having nothing

Thanks for your fast feedback, @Stella619!

If you're using a genuine Fitbit band on your device and it falls of, then most likely either the attaching mechanism on your device or the counterpart on the band is defective and you should check the warranty status of your device. I totally agree with @Guy_  on that.
As malfunctions can and will happen on individual mass produced consumer product, there's no urgent need for Fitbit to change anything on their quick release as it is generally working the way it should be.

I've been wearing my Versa 4 for half a year now, occasionally switching between the default band and my Fitbit Horween Leather strap without any issues.
