Mine does the same thing since I did the update. I have done a hard reset and a factory reset. Still the same problem. Is fitbit planning on fixing this software issue? I used to get 1 week out of the battery, now I don't even get a full day, all started after the update

Hi @SeanG and welcome to the Community! @JLD1234 welcome back to the forums.
I appreciate your messages, and I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing the same issue.
In this case, the troubleshooting steps are the suggested ones appearing in my previous post.
However, when you perform the clock face change, it's important to switch to a Fitbit clock face.
Could you please confirm if you tried all those steps, and if you are using a Fitbit clock face?

I updated it to version 20001.214.24 last week. Is that the most recent update?

Versa 4 After charging it does not turn on. Black screen. It vibrates when you press the button for 10 seconds but nothing happens. If you connect it to the charger it also vibrates.

Hi @JLD1234 and welcome back to the forums.
I appreciate your message, and thank you for your efforts. Yes, the Firmware version 214.24 is the most recent update for Versa 4, as explained here: What's changed in the latest Fitbit device update?
Hi @Doimo! Thank you for your message!
I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 4, after charging it doesn't turn on. I am grateful for the additional information regarding the vibration of your device, and for the restarting tried.
Could you please confirm if you already tried the steps shown in the following help article? Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

I started having the same problem last week with my versa 4 randomly shutting down. Now it won't turn on at all. I've only had it for 1.5 years, a replacement for a fitbit that stopped tracking heart rate. I really loved my fitbit and it worked perfectly until last week, but I can't afford to keep replacing it. I have tried everything suggested but can't make it work for more than a few minutes even with a factory reset.

@MarioSFitbit Is there a way to get a replacement seen as the devices clearly aren’t fit for purpose? What is Fitbit going to do about the widespread issues that are going on here?
please can you forward me an email where I can complain directly to Fitbit?

yes I tried these steps. what happened before the problem was. I put the device to charge and in a check it was charging normally it was 46% so I left it charging until it reached the maximum but when I went to check the device it was off. then I press the button it vibrates. but nothing happens. no light or brightness on the screen.. When I connect the charger. it also vibrates but nothing happens.

I'm having all these issues since updating a couple of weeks ago, it's turning off during sleep and randomly throughout the day. I could easily go a week plus without charging and now I can't. I tried all the steps above, and see they say to use a fitbit clock face. I've also tried that. Plus, isn't the point to be able to customize our watches as well? Please share if you get in touch with Fitbit directly!

The best they would offer me was a 35% discount on a new fitbit product.
---
Fitbit wouldn't or couldn't do anything to help. Offered me a coupon for
35% off a new fitbit. Why would I want to spend $300 on another watch that
will only last a year?
----
I am currently using my old versa 2 because at least it still works as a
watch. My versa 4 can't even do that.

They offered me the same and told me it’s the battery. Said there is no way to fix it since it is not a common issue. But I am seeing this issue all over the forum for the last few months with no resolve. Everyone just gets offered the 35% discount if you’re out of warranty. I’ve had mine for 18 months. I have loved Fitbit for the last decade or so but now I’m afraid I am going to have to find a new brand.
