I’m so confused I haven’t had this happen before with my Fitbit Versa 4. I have had it a few months. Earlier this evening my calories burned today was already at 2700. Fast forward a few hours it’s gone down to 2200??

Hi there, @EmmaBVersa. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 4.
Have you checked if your personal information hasn't been mistakenly changed or modified? or did you manually log an activity that could override your calorie count for that day? Would you mind checking this? Note that your data will be recalculated if you manually log an activity as the manually logged activity takes precedence over data you tracked while wearing your Fitbit device at that point in time. For example, if I am wearing my Fitbit device and walking and I reach 100 calories, then I manually log an activity that starts and ends at that point in time for say 1 hour, Fitbit will calculate how many calories I burned and it may bring my calorie count to something below 100.

Thanks for getting back to me, I had not logged a manual activity at all and no information changed in my personal information either so not sure what is causing it. It has literally just done exactly the same thing, knocked 300 calories off. I hadn’t even synced with the app it literally just dropped off by itself.

Just done the exact same thing again, always in the evening, just knocked 300 calories off my total again in one go? Very frustrating!

I just set up my Versa 4 today! For some reason my food intake is going to tomorrow, Thursday, instead of today! Any ideas how to correct this?

@MarreFitbit I would really appreciate some more information on why my watch has suddenly started doing this? Every evening this week the watch suddenly drops 100s of calories for no reason at all, no manual activity logged and no change in personal details. It just does it randomly in the evening, only in the evening. Sometimes the calories appear back on their own and other times they don’t. The watch is not even 2 months old so finding this very frustrating. I have been making sure the app is up to date and also updated software on the watch. I don’t know why this has suddenly started happenings
