I was at over 7,000 steps about an hour ago. Now it is saying I have 3,208 steps. It has never done this before

Hi there, @Meaganleiann. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums and sharing the details about the issue with your Versa 4. @Talahthas Thank you so much for your help!

To better assist you, I was wondering if this incident happened after you synced? If so, are you syncing frequently? When was the last time sync before this incident?

If you remember the exact amount of steps or the name of the activity you performed, you can try manually logging the activity. To get more information about this, check the article Can I add an activity manually to the Fitbit app?

Welcome to the Fitbit community, @Meaganleiann!

Sad to hear that your Versa 4 isn't working as expected. If this issue appeared out of nowhere, I'd suggest to restart your device to get it hopefully fixed. To do so keep Versa 4' side button pressed for around 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo is shown on it's display.
