Versa 4 is not syncing all my steps

My app is not syncing all of my steps. Yesterday my watch showed I did 11,237 steps but the app is only saying 3,724 after it synced. My Apple health app shows the correct amount which it got from my watch, so why is the app not syncing the right amount? This is a constant occurrence. I have synced, switched the watch off but it continues to have this problem.
