I’ve moved from a Versa 2 to Versa 4 and the number of calories i’m burning is about between 300 & 500 less per day , is it that the Versa 2 being so old wasn’t registering the correct number and the V4 is more accurate ?

Hi there, @Alang16. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I understand your concern, we're here to help you!
As a first approach, please take into consideration the information provided by @LZeeW.
On a side note, have you checked if your personal data has been entered correctly? Please note that your BMR is based on the physical data you entered in to your Fitbit account (height, weight, sex, and age) and accounts for at least half the calories you burn in a day.

Hello @Alang16 and welcome to the Community. Your calorie burn from activity is heart rate based. The Versa 2 uses a different optical heart rate monitor from the Versa 4. There are inherent accuracy differences between models. There is also the possibility that the two devices have different algorithms for measuring heart rate. You aren't the only user who has reported this when changing models. It is hard to say which one is more accurate.
