I seen the replies by moderators that various factors in the environment can cause inaccurate readings. I have worn a Fitbit for many years now. This problem just started to be extreme this July. That tells me it is a update issue. Ergo they should be able to fix it with a software update.

Hi there, @1traveler. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the image attached. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 4 is not tracking your floors accurately. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you!
Please note that your Fitbit device may give you credit for extra floors for a variety of reasons. Devices may track floors while doing everyday tasks such as opening doors, driving, or riding elevators or escalators, or from abrupt weather and atmospheric pressure changes. Exposure to excess moisture can also result in extra floors. For more information, see Why does my Fitbit device count extra floors? You can also find more information about tracking activity in this help article How does my Fitbit device calculate my daily activity?
On a side note, please take into consideration your Fitbit device's environmental conditions. You can find this information at the Fitbit Versa 4 User Manual page 64.
