Versa 4 is not tracking my steps nor calories accurately

I’ve had my versa 4 for a couple months now and I’m very active daily so my steps and calories burned are generally the same every day but lately about once a week my versa 4 will be behind and say I’ve burned less then I should’ve. Even the steps will be incorrect sometimes

Hi there, @Gb19. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. It's sad to hear that your Versa 4 is not tracking your steps nor calories accurately. I understand where your concern is coming from as you seem to be a very active person so I know how important is to get accurate details of your workouts. I'll do my best to help you with this.

Regarding your calories, as a first approach, I recommend checking your personal data to see if anything was changed accidentally. Check your personal information to see if your weight and height are properly set, it may worth the try. To update your profile, see How do I change the units of measurement in my Fitbit account?

Fitbit devices combine your basal metabolic rate (BMR)—the rate at which you burn calories at rest to maintain vital body functions (including breathing, blood circulation, and heartbeat)—and your activity data to estimate your calories burned.

Your BMR is based on the physical data you entered in to your Fitbit account (height, weight, sex, and age) and accounts for at least half the calories you burn in a day.

As for your steps,
confirm the following are correct in the Fitbit app:

Since we use height to estimate your walking and running stride lengths, you may want to measure and manually adjust these values if your legs are longer or shorter than average. For more information, please see How does my Fitbit device calculate my daily activity?

Sometimes, when you start walking, your steps may not update on your device right away. After about 10-15 continuous steps, you'll notice the steps catch up and start updating in real time with each step you take.

I've moved your post to the Versa 4 board for organization purposes.
