why is this device so bad at tracking,it doesn't track my rides properly & now it's playing up with tracking gym workouts.

It is going in the bin asap!

Update: Oh and forget about tracking sleep..it's a joke

Hi @SunsetRunner  - check which firmware version you have, there are issues with 194.61 - see this post 

The new technology sensors in the later Fitbit models can have problems with heart rate measurements while moving.
