Versa 4 is not tracking sleep or distance

Same issue here. Which appears to be an ongoing issue.   I have sleep goals, wear my watch in the correct position, and I do not use the manual options.   The Versa 4 is not tracking sleep.   
It is not tracking distance correctly either.  I walk the exact same walk each day, and sometimes it measures the distance as 1 mile, 1.49 miles and even 2 miles.  How can that be?  They shut off my old watch which worked great!  And now I have this which doesn’t work correctly at all.

my fitbit versa 4 has suddenly stopped tracking my  sleep data as well as my active zone min and also my hourly activity min i noticed the change since the 24/2/24 also sometimes the watch won't let me scroll to options and worst is when I finish swimming in the pool it won't let me stop the swim only pause and the screen won't scroll as well even though I have dried the watch  it only lets me use the button on my watch but only to pause the swim not stop it very frustrating as I  swim in the pool often also during the day at home the watch won't let me scroll to anything it only lets me use the button on the side the watch only scrolls sometimes other times it won't scroll at all I have checked all the settings and they are all on the correct settings very annoying hope someone can help me with these problems

Same here, at least with sleep score. Very annoying. I've done a factory reset and un-installed and reinstalled the app. My fitbit won't track breathing frequency or pulse variation during the night any longer. My latest sleep score was on Tuesday the 20th of February.

If many more read this post, I  am sure a ton are having this issue too. All of my data is not recording. I have reset my Bluetooth, disconnect reconnection. This maybe an internal issue with them and they are not coming forward. It’s 2 days now.

I changed from left to right wrist last night (in app too). I also put my fitbit higher up and I got sleep score. Going to try this tonight too to see if there is something "wrong" with my left wrist 🤣😅

I'm right handed.

When mine does record sleep, which is about three-quarters of the time, often it is incorrect.  This morning when I synced the watch, it had my wake-up time two hours later than when I was up and moving.

I am also having the same problem - "NO DATA" on my sleep patterns for inexplicable reasons. It used to be periodically, like once in one or 2 weeks. But recently, I forgot to bring it on a business trip , and of course, no activity on the Sleep function. But now it's already 3 days after my trip, and wearing my Versa 4 daily during the last 3 days, and still the sleep function does not work.

Is anyone in FitBit management concerned at all about this? I bought a new Versa 4 less than a year ago because my earlier version stopped providing the sleep  data. Only to find the same problem recurring.

I really feel like ditching it for good, unless a solution is offered by FitBit management,

Last night I tried to have the fitbit higher on my left arm and it worked there too. I have never had the band so high up on my wrist before and it have worked lower down. I get marks on my arm in the morning though because I have to have the band on quite tight for it to stay up there (chubby arms with noticeable thinner wrists). 

So my suggestion is to try to move the wrist band higher up on your arm to see if it'll start tracking again.

Same issue here too. Boyfriend and I both got versa 4 at Christmas. And mine is hit and miss on the tracking of sleep. His is lucky if it ever tracks sleep. Never had the issue on the versa or versa 2. Have tried everything that they suggest for fixing it and trial and error. Only thing that kinda works is leaving the app running in the background or syncing the app first thing when we wake up. Not a fail safe but also my frustration is that I never had to do that with the old watches. And why now. That’s more of an inconvenience than anything. Beyond frustrating. I’m also noticing my watch stops sending notifications more and I have to constantly reset my blue tooth on the phone and I never had to do that either. I’m surprised there’s no help on this that actually works or there’s no posted response showing the fix

I have come to the conclusion that Fitbit is really not interested in
satisfying its customers’ needs. All the feedback is ignored. All they want
is for users to subscribe to the Premium feature, and the sleep tracker
issue is resolved!! Sorry, enough is enough. Fitbit seems to forget a
simple fact- the competition is out there, and there are other better and
less expensive options.
Fitbit users, let’s get real. Why should we continue buying this product
when there are others??

my versa 4 is now tracking my sleep again, but I now have a new problem intermitently it won't scroll sometimes it does and sometimes it won't. I find it gets worse when I have been in the pool and it won't come out of WATER LOCK setting the only option I have when I try to stop the swim session is to PAUSE the swim It takes me about 5 min to eventually get it to work by removing the watch drying the rear of the watch and persisting with trying to  END the swim session

by drying the back of the watch then putting it back on my wrist and after about 6 more attempts out of the blue it will work very frustrating  but apart from that the only other issue I have sometimes during the day when I am at home and NOT in the pool It decides not to scroll at all so I have to take the watch off my wrist and wipe the back part of the watch a few times then it eventually comes good so I am still not happy with the versa 4 not scrolling when It feels like it.  I have checked all the settings and they are all correct it just feels like the watch has a mind of it's own to either scroll or not scroll

Looks like another unhappy or dissatisfied Fitbit customer.
Looks like there are many of them, yet they continue to use Fitbit. I

i have always worn the  watch fairly high up on my arm so It doesn't slide down my wrist My only problem now is that the watch won't scroll sometimes it has a mind of it's own sometimes it scrolls and other times it won't. also when I am in the pool and want to end the swim session it won't let me i only have a choice to pause the swim i then remove the watch and dry the back of the watch and after 5 to 5 attempts It finally lets me choose to END the swim session strange
