Hi, got a new Versa 4 today but there is definitely some sort of glitch
Screenshot below - it is showing 1,668 calories every day ever, including before I even owned it? I've tried a lot of different things but no joy, is this a known bug and did anyone manage to fix it?
Many thanks
Luke

Hi there, @lukecb_. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for trying to manage this inconvenience with your calories burned and for the image attached.
As @JohnnyRow has explained, the value that you see on your Versa 4 when after setting it up is your estimated calorie burn for the day so far.
We estimate your calorie burn based on your age, gender, height and weight. You burning calories even when you are sleeping or just sedentary. When you are not wearing your Fitbit then it is estimate your passive calories burned. That is what you see on the Fitbit app after the set up.
It then populates your profile with this calorie burn back for six months or so to give you a sensible baseline against which to compare your future calorie burn once your watch starts tracking your exercise and adding exercise calories to your BMR calories. What you're seeing is an expected behavior and the calorie counts re individualized to you.

Fitbit include your BMR (basal metabolic rate) calorie burn, the calories your are always burning just to stay alive. That is showing that your MBR is 1668 daily. For some unknown reason, that value shows way back in past and cannot be erased. That can be ignored and is not really a problem. In the future, that will be credited as calorie burn, even when you are not wearing the watch, prorated evenly throughout the day.
From How does my Fitbit device calculate my daily activity?
