Versa 4 is showing the wrong time after updating it

Hi can anyone tell me if they are having had the same problem as I’m having with my versa4. Purchased the watch in August 2024 and since December 2023 I have been experiencing problems with the charge. Not lasting for more than 2 days. Went online to Fitbit account last night 25/01/2024 and asked chat about it. Suggested I sync with updates for the watch.  I completed the sync and now my watch has been displaying 21.37 since last night 25/01/2024. It is now 22.28 as I write this. Any ideas

Hi @Dale1069 - what version of firmware and Fitbit App do you have? This seems like a bug with syncing, especially with versions of the new V4 Fitbit App.

Hi there, @Dale1069. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear about the battery issues you've been experiencing with your Versa 4. Thanks for sharing with us the resolution offered by our Support Team, we'll help you to rectify the wrong time on your Versa 4. @Guy_ Thanks for trying to help!

To better assist you, may I know if resetting the time manually has done the trick? Is your Versa 4 showing the correct time now?

If the issue is still going on, may I ask if you already synced your device? Please note that the time will be wrong if your Versa 4 hasn't synced recently as your Fitbit device uses the time of the device you're syncing with. To make sure your Fitbit device has recently synced, go to your Fitbit app and tap the Today tab, and then tap Devices.

If by any chance you run into syncing issues, please see Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Have you tried the normal fix @Endgame.

Manually set to the wrong timezone location. Sync(this may not be needed). Then set auto location or manually to the correct location, and sync again.

This should force Fitbit to refresh the the location setting on the watch

Last night I just updated to the latest firmware on my versa 4 and had the same problem. Stuck on the wrong time, and my exercise and heart wasn't syncing on the watch face either. Changing the time zone didn't work, but turning off the watch manually and then turning it back on did work. Now it's back to normal. I guess it just needed a reset after updating.

Thanks for sharing your experience-the hard off/on on the watch reset the time for me too. It had been stuck at 1:09 since the update very early this morning and did not respond to changing the time zone etc.
