I'm a fitbit custom since 2013! I used Flex, Charge and HR before...and i have faced the same issue I'm about to explain before. I believe it was Charge the one that crashed completely after a software update. I reached the Tec. Support and provide them with my device info..it didn't took them more than 72 hours to admit that the reason was the update. The issued me a new device for free with instructions of how and wn to install update...that device last for more than 3 years!
I have my Versa 4 since 9.2023. it was working completely fine till i installed the new update one or two weeks ago. The device keeps shutting down even wn the battery is +80%. I contacted Tec. Support yesterday and she instructed me to clean the device charging metal parts 😂 seriously! I told her that the device is charging fine! Cables are intact. All hardwear are just fine the problem is obviously caused by the new update. Unfortunately she replied several times that "updates are to enhance the device" and its a coincidence... I'm shocked to see how many users have the same exact problem!
I understand the warranty policy clearly but i don't find any explanation for releasing broken updates after the warranty is expired! By far, this situation is on the company since it's a technical issue.
I didn't pay around $+400 for a smartwatch to be DEFECTIVE after 1 year and 5 months ! So why is it defective?

Same issue here 🙋🏻:female_sign: Also been advised it’s a coincidence that everyone’s experiencing the same problem which is extremely frustrating and a demonstration of very poor customer service from the Fitbit team. Yesterday mine wouldn’t even turn on even when on charge, I couldn't reset it, it was a completely blank screen. I’ve submitted a complaint to them and still awaiting a response but in the meantime I’ve contacted a news outlet to hopefully get someone to take the matter seriously 🤞🏼 If you manage to get a resolution please let me know.

I’m having the same problem. From this morning my Versa4 only works when connected to the charger even though it’s fully charged. I’ve spent about 2hrs looking on how to connect with human support!

Im having the same issue for more than 2 weeks now.. i have the sme version as you do. if you get to solvve the problem i will love to know hooow
Same feeling... didnt pay that much money for something that's not gonna be on for the time i actually need it. i leave the house with 100% battery and i get to the gym at 4pm, by that time the versa is off. even worst, i charge my versa prior to sleep and it wouldn't even track my sleep cause it shuts off.
Since google bought fitbit the customer support hasnt been any good!!

Unfortunately my dear the company support representative stated that the device is defective and cannot be fixed! If you receive any different response from them kindly share it! Sure!

I had a little google about Fitbit and they’re no longer making new ones and by the sounds of it withdrawing support for Fitbit products as they’re pushing google ones so I think it’s a lost cause sadly. Awful customer service and a shame as the products are really good when they work.

I' desperate, my Versa4 only works when connected to the charger even though it’s fully charged! From Fitbit no answer, they just don't care, saying the same suggestions that are not useful at all! I've the same version 210.26.
Have u faced the problem? can u help me? I'm Italian and I don't know what to do
Do I have to throw my versa away?

They should at least - for customer loyalty sake - compensate us with the new ones or send a new update to fix the issue then ruin it with a bug by the end of 2026 😂 the device is still new ! Some customers buy it by the mid of 2024!
