Versa 4 is still tracking too many steps

Hello, I still see a high step count on the Versa 4. I have adjusted the stride, walking is main activity.

I dont see sn option to lock the screen when showering, is this correct as utter mafness if correct.

This is my 2nd Versa 4 since Saturday, first one replaced by Argos yesterday as performance was so bad

Hi @DGB100 - step count is basically measured by arm movements / steps. Changing stride length will merely affect the distance.

Your watch will detect steps if you do a lot of constant arm movements, switch to dominant wrist setting to eliminate a more casual arm movements but keep on the non dominant wrist. It should be able to measure steps when just walking fairly accurately,

Choose Swim with water lock for stopping detection of water effects, however, hot water and detergents can damage the seals and let water in, especially over time, so is discouraged.

Hope the new watch solved the other problems.

Not a very good answer about the water lock. I come from an Inspire 3, a very cheaper model, and it had the "water lock" option. Now I have to have an exercice!?
