My Versa 4 often shows inaccurate calories burned. For example, today I’ve walked & run 12.52 miles, but the calorie burn shows only 1,179. Should be double this figure. Any views?

Hi there, @ppuk. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the accuracy of your calories burned on your Versa 4.
As a first approach, I'd recommend checking your personal information to see if your weight and height are properly set. To update your profile, see How do I change the units of measurement in my Fitbit account?
Fitbit devices combine your basal metabolic rate (BMR)—the rate at which you burn calories at rest to maintain vital body functions (including breathing, blood circulation, and heartbeat)—and your activity data to estimate your calories burned.
Your BMR is based on the physical data you entered in to your Fitbit account (height, weight, sex, and age) and accounts for at least half the calories you burn in a day.

Hi MarreFitbit.
I am having a similar issue but here are more details.
This morning I went for a walk with a friend that lasted 1h4m and my fitbit says I burned 54 calories with an average HR of 97bpm. It didn't track any other activity, although I ride my bike to and from work (1 mile each way) and have 14,078 steps for the day and 5.82 miles. It says I have 0 hours of activity for the entire day between 9-5pm. My total calories for the day so far (it's 7:30pm) is 969 calories. What is happening? Please advise.
Thank you.

A few things.
1) Don't sync your Versa during the day. It screws up everything.
2) Try syncing your Versa first thing in the morning. I find that it "catches up" calories overnight. However, I find that the calories are about 10% less than my One recorded for similar activity.
3) And if you are going to update the software on the Versa then also do that first thing in the morning as it unfortunately wipes out all of your activity for the day.
