My Versa 4 has stopped tracking distance outside of GPS. I have heard that this is a bug linked to it no longer determining my stride distance. I have tried to estimate my stride distance and input it manually but I can’t imagine that’s very accurate. Is there a fix for this bug? Device worked fine until July 19th and then completely stopped. Help would be appreciated although it feels like this is something there should be support for.
Moderator edit: clarified subject.

I am having this problem too. Others have posted about this going back to early July, but I have yet to see a helpful fix. So just wanted to put in another voice wanting help with this. Seems like one of the most basic functions of the Fitbit that SHOULD work!

Welcome to the forums @Ryan070 @Aunt2zee
Thanks for sharing the inquiry regarding the distance in the Fitbit app.
Our team is aware of the situation and is working on a solution to it.
Many users have now confirmed that they were able to fix it by entering the stride length themselves. It's worth a try until our team has worked on the solution.
You can find instructions for this here: Can I change my stride length in my Fitbit account?

Yeah also having the same problem, also since 19th July. Will track miles on a run, although not accuratley, but nothing if I set it to a hike or if I just have it without an exercise running.
Getting absolutely no where with Fitbit support, they're useless!
