Versa 4 not receiving android notifications

My wife’s versa 4 does not receive message notifications from her galaxy phone. I have followed every suggestion that I can google with no luck.

I disabled several different things and rebooted the phone and then reenabled them. Everything is the same as it originally was, but the magic of turning off and rebooting fixed it.

Hi @Messagesbroke  the Android minimum requirement is Android 9. As for notifications, this article may be helpful. click to read. You will need to allow notifications from the Fitbit app and from the phone's settings.

Android is fully updated. Galaxy is one year old. 

we have enabled notifications on both versa and phone. 

I started the process with that article
