This has happened 5 times now. I’ve done the factory reset twice. I’ve followed all the suggestions I’ve received. I’ve had this Fitbit versa 4 for less than a month and every other day it just suddenly stops tracking calories/energy burned and active hours. On both my watch and app it says zero active hours and it hasnt recorded any energy burned since this afternoon. Not sure what to do.

I'm having a similar issue. It tracks everything else but when you look at the hourly screens there is nothing there except for a consistent 61 calories per hour. The other measures show nothing. The calories do update overnight but overall I find the Versa 4 to be pretty useless as I only use it for the functions that were on my One. I really miss my One.
I was also having issues with the battery burning through quickly. Support had me reset and update. That worked for the battery but not for the other issues.

Similar thing happening to me. Even if I go for a long run it will say I’ve only burned the minimum calories for my basal metabolic rate. I’ve had the versa 4 less than a week and had plenty of other issues already as well but this one has been the most frustrating.

And I just noticed that when I synced the Versa that the calories sync goes in the opposite direction. At 10:00am, my Versa showed about 1100 calories and my Fitbit showed 621 as I had not synced yet. When I synced it the calories synced in the opposite direction. My Versa then showed 621 calories. So I lost almost 500 calories.

I am having the exact same issue daily around mid morning when I sync I loose my morning workout calories. It started after I took the latest Fitbit update last week

I have resorted to syncing first thing in the morning and then just monitoring my active on the Versa itself. This way I don't loose anything.
I am still having the infuriating issue that none of the daily graphs related to my activity are showing anything of value. They either show nothing or they just show a straight line of 62 calories per hour.

Agreed! It’s super frustrating. This is my third Fitbit in 5 years and I’ve never had any of these issues before I switched to the Versa 4. In the past, when the app has issues syncing, I can at least count on my watch having accurate data. In this case, the data erases off my watch too. All support does is suggest to factory reset which I’ve done multiple times. It’s obvious people use Fitbit for activity tracking so it’s beyond annoying when it can’t even deliver the basics of what it should do. I have found that always having my location turned on helps with the syncing.

Same issues here too. Been onto Fitbit support but no help!!
Its cheating me out of calories constantly. Ive had the Versa 4 for around 8 month, was fine until the new firmware update was installed! Wish i hadnt installed it. Terrible
