Versa 4 phone icon with a line through it keeps appearing

I am on IPhone, 

My Versa 4 stops syncing as soon as I leave my fitbit app, it is showing the crossed-out phone symbol on my watch. I have tried resyncing multiple times but it doesn’t sync automatically anymore,

I have restarted my watch,

I have no updates on phone or watch. 

I have disconnected from bluetooth and reconnected. 

I have “forgotten” my device on the fitbit app and reconnected. 

I have swiped to start a manual resync on the app and it stops about halfway. 

I have ready the help guide and none of the tips seem to be a permanent fix

This icon means that your Versa 4 is out of your phone's Bluetooth range. As soon as your Versa 4 gets back nearer phone, the icon will disappear. 

Before considering other options, please confirm that you've tried all troubleshooting steps provided here Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
