My Versa 4 reboots every time the app tries to sync. It seems to do it with every 3rd party clock face I’ve tried. Even tried some faces that didn’t have the “not optimized” label.
I’ve tried all the standard copy/paste tips the support team puts in other posts and they don’t work or don’t stick and last. Only thing that seems to work is resetting Versa to factory default settings, then remove device in the app, forget device in Bluetooth, delete the app, and start from scratch as if you’re a first time user. Then ONLY use Fitbit clock faces.

Does anyone have any tips how to get my Versa functioning correctly? I had a Versa 1 for 6 years that I loved. I pre-ordered the Versa 4 (so I’ve had it almost a year) and it’s never really functioned what I would consider “correctly” since I’ve had it. My suspicion is that there were some issues with the first ones they sent out? All the issues seem to be related to the Bluetooth in my Versa since I’ve had the same issues across two different phones. I don’t seem to have any connection issues with any other devices with my phone.

Hi @csbeltram - the new operating system in the Versa 4 has numerous issues, and in case is not compatible with some clock faces. No explanation has been given for this incompatibility which manifests itself in the watch crashing and restarting. Sometimes turning off the Bluetooth stops this behaviour. My watch kept turning itself on and had to be factory reset to enable a shutdown.
It seems some of the issues is the synchronisation of clock face status, due to the Bluetooth or phone reliability in transferring information, making it troublesome.
As you say the Versa 1 was a much more robust operating system where most things worked.
There is firmware update announced which makes matters worse so don't install it.

I’m using the Diamond clock face which apparently is a Fitbit one. It’s only been 24 hours using it but so far so good. No restarts, freeze ups or whatever.
Based on what others are saying about their clock face, I’m just staying with what I have.

I had the restart thing going on even after trying the various clock faces support said to try. I ended up getting a replacement and for the past 24 hours so far so good.
