Hi @Zellars - try a first shortcut, restart the watch again and in the Fitbit App run the Set up a Device. If that doesn't work there are other steps to perform. When holding the button wait for more than 10 seconds.

It's good to see you participating in the community @Zellars.

Thank you for providing the details regarding the inconvenience with Versa 4. I'm sorry to know about it.

Please, Tap your profile picture > device image > Sync Now. A firmware update banner should appear.

If Sync Now doesn’t show an update banner, please tap your profile picture > device image > Gallery. The app should show a pop-up to install the missing apps and recover the device.

If the issue isn’t resolved, try to perform a restart as indicated here: How do I restart my Fitbit device?

This has gotten me farther… the Versa 4 is instructing me to log in to the
Fitbit app and set up the device. However, I still can’t connect the device
to the Fitbit app on my phone. It searches, but can’t find it. I turned the
Bluetooth off and back on, didn’t work. I signed out of the Fitbit app and
back in - still doesn’t connect. I don’t have any other devices connected.
Any other suggestions? At least we’re making progress!

I finally got connected! I had to do “live chat” a couple times = very helpful. Make sure your phone software is updated! After updating my iPhone software, it just took awhile for my phone to “find” the Versa 4 device; note that I did all of the suggested re-start steps after I updated my iPhone . I had given up and suddenly, I noticed that the Versa device asked for the 4 digit code displayed on my Fitbit app! It finally made the connection - then I needed to get the Versa upgrade. Woo Hoo - I’m back.
