Welcome back to the Fitbit community, @egruss!

Sad to hear that you're having an issue with your Versa 4.
To hopefully get things fixed, I'd suggest restarting your device by keeping it's side button pressed for around 10 seconds until you'll see the Fitbit logo on it's display.

If that won't work for you, please try changing the clock face on your device. Here's how to do that:

How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?

If your Versa 4 still isn't working as expected afterwards, I recommend to do a factory reset on your device. Before doing so, please make sure your device is completely charged. To reset your device, first keep it's button pressed for around 10 seconds until you'll see the Fitbit logo flashing on it's display. Then release the button and immediately keep pressing it again until there's a circle around the Fitbit logo. Now release the button and wait until your device has restarted.
Finally, please follow the instructions provided here to set up your device from scratch:

How do I get started with Fitbit Versa 4?

I'll keep my fingers crossed.
