Versa 4 screen won't turn on when a notification comes in

I recently bought a Versa 4, and when I receive notifications my watch vibrates but nothing shows up on the screen. I've tried a few different settings such as always-on and screen wake but every time I get a notification I need to press the button to see what is actually is.

I've a funny feeling that this is intentional from Fitbit and not a system bug with my particular watch. I had a Versa 2 which I enjoyed using and only got rid of because it was no longer tracking sleep having used it for 2 years and I'm starting to regret buying a Versa 4 instead of a totally different brand. I was disappointed for example to see that there's no 3rd party apps allowed on the Versa 4 which means I can't download a torch app, and already this Versa 4 has had issues tracking my sleep. Even when I went to Fitbit support to ask for help with the blank screen the website said that "Chat support is not available", nice one lads looks like Fitbit don't yet have access to this new thing called an 'Email'. Is there any way to have it so that the Versa 4 shows the notifications on the screen when I receive them, or am I better off returning this watch and getting a refund?

Appreciate and help and advice, thanks.

Helo,

Could you solve this problem? Or still have it?

I don't have notifications yet, just vibration. 🫠🫠🫠

Hi there, @JOS2610 @RenataCosta. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I understand your concern.

Please note that the Versa 4 has a new operating system and lots of things work differently, therefore, what you are looking for is not possible at this time. I can see your point of view and I understand why this might be helpful. I suggest you post your comments under the "product feedback" board (click here) so other members of the Community can comment and vote for it. This is the best way to make your voice heard.
