My versa 4 had stopped tracking my heart rate and steps ect.. I got some help but before I could do it the watch just turned black; charged to 100% at 5 went to bed at 10 and it turned off.

When I try to charge it it keeps on bidding but doesn’t turn on I can’t connect or via Apple Bluetooth because it has turned off.

I have looked at other posts but this hasn’t given me the answer I need.

-I don’t know how long this watch should last I set it up in January as a gift.

Update: Aldo I have tried restarting it doesn’t work and when I charge it it gives a beep beep beep ect till I taken it off.

Hi there, @Ashwins1234. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums. It's sad to hear that your Versa 4 is still not turning on despite all the steps you've tried so far. I understand where your concern is coming from as your device is not even one year old. I'll do my best to help you with this.

As per the description of your post, it looks to me that your Versa 4 has run out of battery even when you mentioned that it was at 100%. Sometimes a Fitbit doesn’t seem to be charging when actually the issue is that it has become unresponsive (this can happen if the battery has been allowed to discharge completely). I'd recommend putting it on to charge on a charging wire and outlet known to be working.  Leave it on the charger for a good two hours, even if it doesn’t seem to be charging.

When it has had two hours, try restarting your Versa 4. I would recommend trying this maybe twice in a row if a first try doesn’t work.

Mine is doing the same and nothing appears to be working. Same age of device. This has been going on for months. Not sure when FitBit quality tanked, but this one has been an awful experience.

Yeah @bethannemcp I bought this when it came out for £170. It is a good watch but it’s lifetime span isn’t very good it hasn’t even been a year since I have had it. I agree with you though. I don’t know if you have any other watches but the sense 2 had really good reviews. Also when did this happen to you this happened to me like a week ago.

UPDATE:

It has been about 2 weeks (from the 18th). I randomly gave it a bit of hope and charged it it works now everything. Charging it didn’t work before but now it does. Charging got better as well so just wait a while and it will be fine in my experience
