Versa 4 started syncing after a firmware update

I've been a long time android user and recently switched to a new iPhone 15. I paired the Versa 4 with my new iPhone after some struggle, but it seemed to work. Two weeks later, the pairing stopped working (e.g. no text messages going to my watch). I tried to unpair and re-pair the watch with my iPhone, but it would not pair. I went through the forums and tried multiples steps advised. I then got on a call with a Fitbit rep and they walked me through the same steps with a Factory Reset of my Versa 4. This did not resolve the issue. The rep was kind enough to offer me a replacement Versa 4 and I would need to ship my current watch back to Fitbit.  Before I did that, I tried re-pairing my Versa 4 back to my Android. It worked on the first try and asked to update my watch. I did the update and then disconnected my Versa from my Android. I then went through the pairing steps again on my iPhone and it paired on the first try. I'm thinking that my watch needed a firmware update to work properly with my iPhone 15. We'll see if the pairing sticks because it worked at first and then didn't.
