Versa 4 starts exercices on its own since latest update

Since the last update, my Versa 4 is starting exercices on its own. I'm sitting on the couch, not moving and it will start a walk, a yoga or a weightlifting session. When I try to stop it, it opens Youtube or just freezes and I have to reboot it to get it to work.

I can no longer wear it to bed to monitore sleep because it wakes me up when it starts an exercice.

It also switches features from the top menu (do not disturb, brightness, etc.) on its own.

So the watch is basically useless right now.

I read the previous channel about this problem, did what was proposed and it did not solve the problem.

Was anybody able to fix this?

Hi @Pascou, welcome to  the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

That's a pretty odd behavior of your Versa 4. What was the suggestion you tried? Have you restarted your device?

To restart your device, press and hold the button for 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears on the screen, and then release the button.

Do you arrive to perform a factory reset from the settings of your watch ? Settings > Settings > Factory reset.

I hope these tips will be helpful. Have a great day.

My Versa 4 does the same thing. I try resetting and nothing works — it’s very glitchy.

Hi David

Thanks for reaching out.

I've tried restarting the watch many times with no results.

I tried the factory reset Saturday after you suggested it. Althought it seems to be better, exercices are still starting on their own even if less frequently than before. I was watching a movie and it started a bike exercice. Last night, as I was trying to set an alarm, it started a bike exercice and a weightlifting session as I was scrolling throught the menu. Scrolling on the watch is a nightmare.

I am very disapointed in the device. 😞
