I just got a brand new versa 4 last night. Fully charged it and updated software. Set up with alarm for this morning, it was tracking steps and syncing with my phone. This am no alarm, screen was black. I had to restart it as it apparently shut off. 99% charged. Time was totally wrong. Did I get a lemon? This is not right as brand new. If continues with problems is there someone i can call to return the watch. Disappointed so far.

Hi there, @Kristinautz. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 4 before reaching out. I understand how you must be feeling. @Heather-S Thank you for your help!

To better assist you, please make sure you've restarted your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device?. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

If the above doesn't work, please let me know if your Versa 4 does vibrate either when you connect it to the charger or when you perform the restart.

@Kristinautz That is very strange. Try doing a factory reset of the device to see if that fixes it.

@MarreFitbit I've been having the same problem. My Versa 4 shuts down at random times of the day or night, often in the middle of tracking a run. I've tried the suggested steps you've recommended in this and other posts. I first tried removing third party clock faces. When that did not fix the problem, I performed a factory reset and only used a Fitbit clock. I have also tried restarting it, but the problem continues to happen. When the watch shuts down  and I restart it, I have to hold the button down for a long time (10 or more seconds?) which seems longer than when I just perform a shut down from the settings and then turn it back on with the button. Also, when it shuts down and I restart it with the long button push, it cycles between two different Fitbit logos about 5-6 times, then displays a large red "X" before displaying the clock. What is the next step in troubleshooting or do I have a defective product? I really like this tracker, but I am very disappointed with the way this one is performing. This was an upgrade from a very old Fitbit Charge2 and that tracker never had problems like this.

Thanks

Good Morning

I am having same issues. Cannot get to settings at all. Woke up to a watch that is frozen. Trying to restart and won’t. I have already done the factory reset once. This seems to be ongoing issue with the Versa 4
