Versa 4 stopped tracking my swimming activity

My device no longer auto detects my swimming. It work at first for quite awhile but now is not picking up when I swim even though I have set it to Auto recognise after 10 minutes.

Hi Peter. Previously, When Ive gone swimming I have pressed the exercise button and press swim which locked the app. At the end of my swim, I double click on the Fitbit and the end swim button shows. Today when I’ve pressed exercise the swim button didn’t show. Do you just get in the pool and swim and then your swim is normally tracked? Maybe I’m wrong but I have been thinking that the lock has to be activated for swimming?
