My Fitbit versa 4 battery ran down, I plugged it in to charge and it won’t boot back up. When I press and hold the button the Fitbit logo comes up flashes a couple of times then a Red Cross appears.
I’ve changed the charging cable.
I’ve tried the factory reset
I’m a bit stuck as it’s not been damaged. Just literally went flat. Have also left it on the charging dock for more than 30 mins.
no green lights on the back either where the sensors are when it does flash the fit bit log for about 10 seconds.

Hi there, @CLS78. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 4 and your time in trying to troubleshoot it.
If you haven't done so yet, please try to manually sync your Versa 4 by tapping your profile picture > your device image > Sync Now. By doing this, a firmware update banner should appear.
If Sync Now doesn’t show an update banner, please tap your profile picture > your device image > Gallery. The app should show a popup to install the missing apps to install the missing apps and recover the device. If the firmware update banner does not show, press and hold the side button for 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears on the screen, then release the button. For more information please visit How do I restart my Fitbit device?
If none of the above works, please do a manual factory reset: Press and hold the button for about 8 seconds until the screen turns off and vibrates. When the customer feels the vibration, release the button, then immediately press and hold the button again. Wait for the Fitbit logo to appear, then as soon as the logo disappears, release the button, then press and hold the button again. When you feel the vibration, release the button, then wait for the watch to complete the factory reset.

None of these work, I can see an option to sync apps. I’ve tried the last point several times and it still doesn’t work

@CLS78 try to disconnect Versa from app - Today screen → Tap Icon upper left corner → Tap Versa → Tap Trash can upper right corner.
Then try to reconfigure device from app - is Versa being detected, or not?
