Versa 4 stuck on Fitbit logo and a red X

Couple days ago my versa 4 started going crazy, vibrating, flashing, going thru all the screens, I held down the button and did a restart, once it restarted it flashed the Fitbit logo 7 times then red x then shut off. I let the battery go dead hoping that would reset it, I charged it over night and it's still doing the same thing, flashed the logo 7 times then red X. I called support and they told me to clean the charging connection and try to charge again, I did that and still flashing logo and red X, support again told me to change the clock face ( really?) I tried to do that and it said can not find versa 4 even tho it's sitting right next to my phone. Then said do factory reset, once again 7 logo flash and red x and off. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi there, @Gruszynd. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 4 is still stuck on the red X and the Fitbit logo. We're here to help!

If you haven't done so yet, please try to manually sync your Versa 4 by tapping your profile picture >  your device image > Sync Now.  By doing this, a firmware update banner should appear.

If Sync Now doesn’t show an update banner, please tap your profile picture > your device image > Gallery. The app should show a popup to install the missing apps to install the missing apps and recover the device. If the firmware update banner does not show, press and hold the side button for 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears on the screen, then release the button. For more information please visit How do I restart my Fitbit device?

If none of the above works, please do a manual factory reset: Press and hold the button for about 8 seconds until the screen turns off and vibrates. When the customer feels the vibration, release the button, then immediately press and hold the button again. Wait for the Fitbit logo to appear, then as soon as the logo disappears, release the button, then press and hold the button again. When you feel the vibration, release the button, then wait for the watch to complete the factory reset.

Nevertheless, I've seen you contacted our Support Team just right after posting here and they've already assisted you. If you have any questions regarding the outcome of your case, please don't hesitate to reach out to our team again. Since you already have a ticket open with them it'd be easier to continue the follow up on this matter with them directly. Thanks in advance!

Hi @Flyd , @Angejj - in the Fitbit App, go to the device page (Connected to) and add more devices, select your watch and replace, to set it up again.

I’ve tried that and it can’t find the watch or I get told to input the code but the watch screen is blank even after or whilst on charge.

Wish I could post a video, logo flashes 7 times then red X but only when on the charger, does nothing when not on the charger, this is a replacement after the one I had for 3 months stopped working, this one I have had 10 months now they are telling me the year warranty doesn't cover this one I have to buy a new one, which I'm going to do but it won't be a Fitbit as none of them I have had lasted at least a year.

I got mine in May so 11 months old, how old is yours. Telling me no longer
under warranty and have to buy a new one, which I will do but it won't be a
Fitbit because I've had at least 4 and none have lasted longer than a year
