Versa 4 stuck on message "To start, download the Fitbit app"

My watch stalled at the end of exercise and would not End. Turned on and off. Done a factory reset and still stuck on the To Get started blurb.

I have the same thing after reset, even the code comes to the watch, but then nothing. There is no solution to the problem.

Hi there, @KazWe. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, for the troubleshooting steps you've tried, and for the image attached. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 4 is stuck on that message. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

If you haven't done so yet, I'd suggest doing the following:

  • Check if by any chance your phone's Bluetooth shows the Versa 4 as a connected device. If so, please unpair/remove it.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Setup your Versa 4 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 4.

If you can't get started with your Versa 4, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?
